Bridget received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Northeastern University in 1988, majoring in Physical Therapy. She worked as a PT in various settings, pediatric, geriatric, and outpatient, for 11 years and then entered Wu Hsing Tao School in Seattle, Washington to study Acupuncture. She graduated in 2004 . She has been practicing Physical Therapy for 24 years and Acupuncture for 6 years. She has worked in a Naturopathic Clinic in Edmonds for 5 years with Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists, and Chiropractors, where she learned about detoxification of the liver and colon and natural remedies for common illnesses.
Some of her specializations include: Sound Healing using tuning forks to access Acupuncture points for various health conditions, Myofascial Release and Unwinding to help to break down scar tissue from old musculoskeletal injuries, and a combination of Acupuncture, Body Work, and Essential Oils for overall healing on the physical/mental/emotional levels. Course work has included: Advanced Myofascial Release courses, Certification in Healing with Essential Oils, Richard Tan’s Acupuncture workshops, and Jin Shin Do Acupressure training. She also uses Qi Gong and Yoga in her own personal practice.
